AR15 Forward Blow Compensator #223FB02

Made from stress proof carbon steel to withstand countless high pressured rounds.  This comp incorporates 8 slotted ports cut in the side at 35 degrees to the muzzle with 3 top ports also cut at that angle.  This causes the gases to expel forward of the comp reducing felt recoil and minimizing muzzle flip.  The sides of the comp have been cut flat to reduce weight.  The crown is cut at 11 degrees .  The base has flats for easy removal with an open ended wrench (3/4) which also has a 40 degree taper to match the OD of the barrel.  This comp is pictured on a Colt Match Target Competition with a .700" OD barrel.  But, that same taper can be cut to match your barrel's diameter for a smooth transition from barrel to comp.
